About the role

Soly is on a mission to create a new kind of utility that has only one interest: helping consumers to get to a zero-energy-bill. We have already helped over 35.000 homeowners going solar and are now rapidly deploying smart batteries and charging solutions in combination with our time of use tariffs. Besides the value on a local level, we have the ambition to provide VPP services to unlock new revenues to our users, and with that have a scalable impact on the energy transition.

We are looking for a hands-on, customer focussed Head of Product with strong diverse market knowledge on the following domains:

- Decentral renewable energy assets (PV, EV chargers, battery, heatpumps)

- Home Energy Management

- Time of use tariffs

- VPP services

Your team

You will fulfil a key leadership role. Together with our partners you will be able to bundle all the building blocks needed to provide new energy services. You will get close support from the Global Marketing team in translating complexity in an easy to understand and strong customer facing app. Furthermore, you will be working closely with the Global Head of Tech to make sure all energy services are connected or fully integrated in the proprietary Soly platform. In addition, the available data of our users will enable you to co-build a strong cross-selling mechanism with other products and services. Given the strategic dimension of this role, you will be working closely with one of the founders and Chief Marketing & Digital Officer.

Your impact

• You will be responsible for building ground-breaking energy services on top of the assets we install at homes throughout Europe.

• Given the local energy markets and regulations you will be working closely with key stakeholders in making sure all building blocks are aligned.

• You will value-stack all the different saving and revenue models and create an energy proposition that will help our users to get to a zero-energy-bill and maximize independency.

Your profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in energy markets, and strong know-how on how it is structured.

• You are hands-on when it comes to building new solutions.

• You build a solution from a customer perspective all the way to the complexity, not the other way around.

• You prefer MVP over long lead times.

• You are used to working in fast-paced environments.

• You have a data-informed mindset: you look at data to base your decisions and

  you’re not afraid to open excel to get the data you need.

• You always look for improvements and are driven to execution.

• You stay up to date on latest trends in different markets.

• We consider it important that all new employees can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) before the start of employment. Therefore, we will request this before the start of your employment.
